A week into this breastfeeding thing and I feel like my nipples are never going to stop hurting.…

I know the pain!!!! 😭 I was so scared to feed her, but I knew she had to have her milk. Unfortunately, it didn't get better for me until week 3. Try not to get discouraged. I did a little, but I'm happy I kept at it. Hope it gets better for you soon.

@chocolatemomma, I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep breastfeeding her. I watched an almost 2 hour movie with her on my boob and she was still hungry when I couldn’t take anymore.

Sometimes they stay on for comfort. It is painful, so I understand completely. Is she latching correctly? Once I got her to latch correctly, it didn't hurt anymore and had time to heal.

@chocolatemomma, she’s not which is the problem... she only latches on my nipples..

Have you looked on YouTube for videos on how to get her to latch? It helps.

@chocolatemomma, yes and I try but she won’t have it... I can’t get her to open her mouth any wider than it is and she just spits out what she doesn’t want and sticks to the nipple.. it also looks like she has a tiny lip tie.. so I don’t know what else to do.

Oh ok. I understand. Good thing there are other options.
