Today was my first time going to a breastfeeding group. I can’t wait to see if I can make new mommy friends.... and it’s also very encouraging to hear other moms going through the same struggles.
Here’s to many months of breastfeeding 🤱🏼👶🏻

Good luck! I love breastfeeding and the amazing bond it has created for me and my son. I was very heartbroken when he decided at 7 months he didn't want mama anymore and just wanted big boy food/:

@meetthevalentines2017, ya I definitely want to be able to do it till at least 6 months... everyone said it gets easier after a month or 2 so I really hope it does because I’ve been wanting to give up pretty often lol

@alyssa_hoffmaster yes, it definitely gets easier. The first month is the hardest. Once you get past that it's a breeze. Don't give up. You'll be sore. I cracked and bled before I even left the hospital. Lanolin and chilled nursing pads helped me alot!

@alyssa_hoffmaster they do. All the time. And it's draining. I remember with my son when he's feed, especially at night or during a busy day it literally felt like he was sucking the life out of me and it was hard to stay awake

@alyssa_hoffmaster so worth it. I highly believe that's why my child has never been sick. Is as healthy as he is, and sleeps as well as he does.
