I don’t know if it’s normal for my daughter to literally be up all night, I didn’t get to bed till 7am and had to wake up at 8.... she will cry and cry unless she is breastfeeding.. as soon as she falls asleep while drinking her milk I try to put her in bed but she just wakes up and cry’s every time. She doesn’t even sleep that much during the day either

Sounds exhausting! Have you tried giving her a pacifier? I know some people are against it, but it might help..

@tyoungdeer, no I give her the pacifier, she’ll use it for 10 minutes and then freak out until she’s on the boob 😩

@tyoungdeer, she should be, but she keeps falling asleep drinking and then if you move a tiny bit she’s awake and wanting more 😩

@alyssa_hoffmaster, strip her down to her diaper so that she stays awake long enough to fill her belly. Try gently blowing on her face or rub her head to try to keep her up. My baby girl did the same thing. For the first few weeks I let her sleep on my chest if she was having a hard time sleeping. Skin to skin contact helps. At least then you can both sleep.
