Have to have additional testing because the doctors think there's a possibility that Alivia has a chromosomal abnormality. I know that no matter what, she will be perfect for us, but it's still so scary to hear this. No parent would ever want their kid to go through this.

@m0thmama did they day something specific about your ultrasound? Like cysts or defect?
@lnkedupmommy, yeah, I'm being referred elsewhere for a more in depth ultrasound and depending on how that goes we'll have to have more done.
@tayler, it wasn't the quad screening that came back with abnormalities though, it was the actual ultrasound :/

Don't stress too much girl. They told me at 20 weeks my little girl was high risk for having down syndrome. I had to have additional testing, turns out she's perfectly fine with no downs! Quad screening is just a screening not an actual diagnosis and it does nothing but worry us moms!
@m0thmama, your a strong person know matter what have faith aswell; I hope everything goes well with you. I’m here if you need me. I went threw the same thing with being a cystic fibrosis carrier. Decided to not even due the testing because I was already so far long; and I was keeping my baby regardless of what ❤️
