I don't care as long as my baby is delivered safely. Why should it matter?

My OB was a female but a male OB delivered my daughter. He was the on call OB and he was the most disrespectful guy I've ever met. My husband and I wanted to punch the dude.

I mostly saw males with my first pregnancy. No issues at all. Very professional. Never a weird vibe ever.

The first 2 pregnancies were delivered by male OBs. The first one was alright, no issues. The second one I loved, he was super laid back and sarcastically funny and we got along great with him. I’m going to a different OB this pregnancy and there’s several OBs within the office, 3 males and 2 females, and it switches every time I go in for an appt. But the male OBs have been much more helpful in my opinion lol

@kkmamax3, he was like 60 something and GRUMPY...not one smile and he was in and out he left literally as soon as he was done with my stitches and I never saw him again 😂

@kkmamax3, GIRL the male Ob that delivered my son was called in on call because my dr didn’t make it and I could not for the life of me stop pushing and once he was in my room he was taking SO LONG to put on his stuff he needed and I was literally laying there crying and under my breath telling him to hurry tf up 😂

I've only had one male gyno/OB and I liked him better than the female I saw. Granted I had a csection.

They say female doctors are more sensitive when it came to that area

I've always had a female doctor (same one for all my kids) but I wouldn't mind a male doctor if I had to but I prefer female.

Mine was male. He was a big jerk whom I grew to despise and resent. But I didn't really have much choice. I feel like a female would've been much more understanding , but overall the ob did a good delivery

My first was a female, and my second was a male. I have to say out of the two, the man was a lot gentler, and made you feel comfy. I chose another man this time, and he’s really awesome too, but take forever for everything 😂

I’ve been to several female obs and didn’t like them... my male one is way better! I love him and wish he could be my dr for everything! And he has/will delivered all my babies.
