Is it true shorter women have shorter pregnancies, and smaller babies?

I'm 5'1 and went 40 weeks

Im 5’3 and went 42 weeks with both my girls

@aandbi14, I’m a little shorter than 5’5 and I went 39 weeks and my baby was 7 pounds

I’m 5’1 had baby boy at 38 weeks but he was a whopping 8lbs 10 oz so I’m not so sure about that statement. Would’ve been nice though!

Well that's encouraging! I'm 4'11 and I always wondered if it was true . Did any of you have to have a csection?

I’m 5’2 and my son was born at 36 and a half weeks old weighing 6lbs 11 ounces. Natural birth

And no c section.

Shoot, women have had larger babies than me lol. That woman in the news recently who had a 13 pound baby or so.😅

I don’t think so I know some one who is very petite and just had a 8lb 14oz baby, but she had to have a c-section because she was so small

@aandbi14, no c-section. Was in labor for 16+ hours before I got an epidural I was gonna try to do it without. 🙈 finally gave in after being in so much pain for so long and I wasn’t progressing
