Welp.. I think my son is allergic to eggs.. no dairy, no eggs, what next 😣
Eggs are one of the most common allergies for babies. A lot of people avoid them entirely until after 1 year & even then there’s a large percentage of kids who still react to them.
@mrssanderson really? I didn't know they weren't supposed to eat eggs lol
Aw, girl. He’s still really young for eggs to be honest... My son has over 20 trigger foods so it definitely could be worse. Hope you get some answers at your allergy appointment!
@mrssanderson I guess I'll know for sure after his test this month. I've been waiting for almost 2 months for this appointment. I'll just stick to stuff i know he can eat until then 🙁 I feel bad that he can't eat like a normal kid, which I'm sure you feel with all the time
His body could have been having issues with certain foods & not showing reactions though... that’s kinda how allergies work. We create antibodies which trigger our reactions 😩 luckily he’s still pretty young & both dairy & egg are common allergies that are outgrown!
@mrssanderson ughh lol he's never had a problem with any food (besides dairy) until he had that stupid allergic reaction to grapes. He ate anything and everything until that happened.
I feel for you girl, my son is dairy, soy & wheat free 😩 he’s about to be 19 months & still only has a handful of safes. I definitely suggest trialing 1 new food at a time so you can pin point exactly what it is he’s reacting to cos reactions can get worse after each exposure... Like if he reacted to eggs once, his next reaction could have been anaphylaxis which can be life threatening. We do 2 week trials before claiming anything as safe
@mommy.to.sterling he's got an allergy test on the 21st so I definitely will not try again until I know for sure. He's already so picky with his food, he's going to be a pain in the ass to actually feed lol
@mommy.to.sterling no rash, just puking. He's had them quite a few times before and he used to love them. He had an allergic reaction a few months ago, he had apples in white grape juice and eggs for breakfast and he broke out in hives and was throwing up (from the white grape I believe). I've tried eggs 2 times since then and he still pukes every time he eats them. I don't know if he just associates eggs with puking, or if he actually has a slight allergy.
Can some one please tell me i was reading the pregnancy tracker it says second week you release a egg am i reading this wright in thats were sperm in egg meet!!!
