Someone help me get my child to sleep! I swear he hates sleeping! His nap earlier was the first nap he's taken in a week and even at night I start putting him to bed around 9 and he doesn't fall asleep until 11 at the earliest. I swear he doesn't like sleep and when he does sleep he's up every hour or 2 trying to get up and play. I understand no sleep comes with parenting but I'm exhausted. When I say he doesn't sleep...he doesn't sleep and I don't know what else to do or try. We've done bed time routines, warm baths, no screen time at least a half hour before bed, early dinner, early wake ups and naps. Literally nothing works. He's even had night time medicine before like the Hyland cough syrup when he was sick and that didn't even make him sleepy.

@keepingupwithhj I probably will but even this past week he woke up at 8 every morning, didn't nap all day and still didn't fall asleep until close to midnight. I don't understand how he's not exhausted too.
@scc2413, you just have to try different things and figure out what works! Sounds like you may need to stop with naps though.
@keepingupwithhj I'll have to look into those! It's just so stressful. I honestly have never met a child that actually hates sleep as much as he does lol
@scc2413, I give my son a half of one on occasion and he is 21 months old!
@keepingupwithhj are those okay for his age? I think I've seen those but never actually looked in to them.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Rant
My SO has been rude a lot ever since I've gotten pregnant...he said he doesn't care about my pregnancy, he doesn't even take one day off from work just ONE to come to at least one ultra sound appointment. I mean he's always making sure I'm fed, he lets use the heating pad, and even apologized to saying he doesn't care. He can mess with me all day but when I want to join and play around he gives me an attitude. He just makes me feel like s*** at times. He's a great fiancé don't get me wro...
Any ideas on how to get an almost 1 year old to sleep on their own? I love co sleeping but it's got to the point where I can't even pee because Seth wakes up screaming if he's alone for more a minute, it's draining and I get no time to myself, would just be nice that once he's in bed to be able to have some time for me and my partner but I have to be In bed with Seth at 7/8 otherwise he won't sleep, I love co sleeping but I can't be doing this with him when I'm up every 2/3 hours with a newborn ...
Its almost 11. Put my son to bed at 9:20 and he has bee. Down here 5 times already i am about to loose it. And when he is upstairs i hear walking around and no one else isnup there but for my daughter who is sleeping. Im sooooo close. I havent had any time to myself at all.
