I need to vent. My son is 4 weeks old and crying constantly, except when eating. He has reflux and is on probiotics to help. My fiance told me that my only job would be to feed him and rest since he works from home but so far all week I've dealt with every crying episode and I'm about to lose my mind. I always make sure he's changed, fed, and I even am able to rock him to sleep but he will wake up 30 mins later. It's not good for him either to not sleep so I'm just mentally drained. I know it's part of the process but I feel just....tired.

@tiffanyf I have the halo swaddle so I'll have to try. I hope it gets better since he turns a month on the 8th. This newborn thing is no joke lol. Thanks again
@simmiebaby, for the first month .. than he became better and actually let me put him down and didn’t cry as much !! And I double swaddle Jayden ! The regular Velcro one and a light blanket .. cause he has to be swaddled to sleep
@tiffanyf how long did it take? I'm trying to transition him to sleep on his own but he gets out of every swaddle and hates them. He won't sleep unless it's on my chest 🙃

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
