Last time I got checked for dilation the doctor was really rough and made me bleed. Do you think if I ask her to be less rough she’s listen or totally ignore me?
@kaylaberg7777, possibly I just know she said it would be a little uncomfortable and the. It led to me almost crying. Hopefully next time it’ll be better
@randie.raye ahhhhh maybe she swipt your membranes by accident?? Ive heard of doctors/midwifes doing that on accident!
@kaylaberg7777, well before she checked me I hadn’t lost my mucus plus, when I got home I did immediately and she said I was dilated 1cm
@randie.raye I feel your frusteration!!! They say its normal to bleed for up to 24 hours. Maybe she just went a little too deep. Hopefully next time she will be more careful!
@kaylaberg7777, I have no idea I just know it was painful, I bled and for 30 minutes after I thought I was going to puke. I just want her to tell me I can go from her office to the hospital honestly
@randie.raye just tell her you have been extremely tender down there, and would like her to be careful. Or it could be that she has short and stubby fingers haha. They say those kinds of fingers really hurt!
It is normal for it to hurt.... a lot, and it’s normal to bleed. But definitely tell her you are tender, keep that line of communication open and clear.
You’re also far enough along that it should get labor rolling sooner rather than later. So read up on signs of labor to watch for and get some rest.
