I got judged by my co-workers today. They were gossiping about me and said that pregnancy isn't an excuse to take a sick day. One of the has been pregnant before and she was saying I must be faking it. I'm trying not to be mad. But like there is a possibility that my morning sickness is worse than hers was. And she terminated her before she got the how far along I am. I'm upset. Idk I'm emotional.

It does. Sorta. The nausea goes away at least! I mean, I liked being pregnant. It was awesome. But there's also lots of bits that aren't awesome, all throughout, and I have no qualms about saying that there are parts that suck. And many women have it even worse than I did.
But I can't stand women who say pregnancy is easy and great and you should never complain or take a rest day, or try to talk down to someone who does have a hard time. Plus, my hard time and your hard time cane be completely different! What one can handle may be different from what someone else can. Bah. What I'm trying day is don't let those women bother you, if you can. Only you know your body, what you can handle, and what you're experiencing.

I had so many people tell me they couldn't understand because they LOVED being pregnant and had no issues, could work right up until birth. I was like, if I look at food I puke, if I think about food I puke, just because your pregnancy was easy doesn't men everyone's is. Even my dad was saying 'Your mom loved every minute of being pregnant, you shouldn't complain, there's nothing to complain about.' Uhhuh, dad, riiiiiight. I highly doubt she loved every minute. Pregnancy can suck, and it can suck the life out of you.
@kelseyweeks03 maybe. Just don't get your hopes up that it will always work. I was prescribed something and there were still days here and there where I had to deal with it. However it wasn't as bad
@maesmommy04 that's the thing. They have tried vit b6 and unisom and it is not working. Have my first appointment today so I think they will switch me to a prescription

Also I had to quit my job with my first pregnancy cause I was too sick to work. So yes taking a sick day during pregnancy is valid some times.
Every pregnancy is different. And morning sickness varys. With my daughter I was absolutely helpless. Lost weight had to be put on medicine. My boyfriend had to take sick days or go in late a few times cause I couldn't get out of bed by myself. With this one. I haven't thrown up at all. Except some dry heaves. Don't let people get to you that way. Some people just try and find a reason to talk about people.
She can't say sh** then! That's really messed up! Thinking someone is faking a pregnancy after they terminated theirs! That burns me up!! Everyone's pregnancy is different, just let her stupid comments go in one ear and out the other
