Do they usually do a 3d ultrasound for a growth scan? Or can they get good measurements with a 2d ultrasound? I'm 37+5 and my doctor wants to do a growth scan on baby but at 32 weeks he was in the 77 percentile which i thought was average..
Will they do a growth scan at my next appt ill be 36 weeks 2 days??
growth scan... It seems like everyone is getting growth scans except me :( this is my 4th baby and not one doctor ever offered a scan after my 20 week anatomy scan. Is there a medical reason your doctor gives you ladies a growth scan?

t- 2 days Until we find out what iron baby is. Decided to do an early scan since my husband won't be at the next ultrasound, and my son won't be at our level 2 scan...I wanted us all together.

I don't know if every insurance covers a 3d scan, so it's probably a 2d by default, and you can request a 3d.

When I had mine they did 2d and I ask the tech she change it to 3d
