I just had to put Gabe down and walk away. I wish y'all could hear him screaming for no reason.
Science! My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Anybody baby won't sleep in their bassinet? Is their a way we can make it More comfortable? I was thinking taking a fuzzy blanket and tucking it under the lil mat that's in there because every time I set him down he wakes up right away.. But if I put him in bouncer he will stay asleep or in our bed he stays asleep but I really wanna stop the bed and start bassinet. Any recommendations?

@riab1985, ok? What about trying to stop him using me as a dummy :L

Babies go through a growth spurt. Read up on them. I am exclusively breastfeeding my little one who's nearly 6 months we had many spurts.

@lexi109, I know that feeling too! we've been living with my grandma for ages (since my son was born!) and she pretty much took over. always picking him up and that. just got our own place luckily but it's so frustrating 😤

@dhovakiinx, aha ikr, I'm pretty much the same, I live with my partner at his parents and they have to kno everything and give their opinion which gets annoying enough without opinionated professionals lolx

@lexi109, The midwives and health visitors really piss me off, to put it nicely! every baby is different. i just get on with it and if i'm concerned or worried about anything i'd ask my mum first than them 😂😂

Ah did she how many bottles was you doing? My midwife said don't give more than 6 bottles in a day, I feel like the midwifes n health visitors have different rules &guidelines ..xx

@lexi109, I know it's so tempting to have them in bed. But in the long run it's so exhausting and it's awful getting them into their own bed 😩Maybe try different dummy teat shapes? i found the cherry one was the best, as it kind of just sits in their mouth 🤣 My daughter didn't take a dummy though, maybe that was down to her being breastfed but for me i'll never breastfeed again 🤣🤣🤣

She had a dummy as well, but it didn't really help all that much :( try it though!

This is why Charlie ended up with a dummy. Never wanted him having one but he kept waking anytime I put him down and wanted boob as comfort. Try and get a few different shapes if you’re willing to go down the dummy route, Charlie spat loads of them out until I found the right shape x

@dhovakiinx, yeh tried dummy's he just spits them out health visitor said try tapping on it but no he just won't take it, yeah you're right you don't that's why I've started giving a couple bottles a day so then I know he's got something down, he can drink 4oz of milk! An I'm the same I end up falling asleep with him in my bed every night it's not gd my parter mones at me but it is hard when that's what helps me get at least some sleep!
I'm trying not to give up breastfeeding but ugh it is tempting lol but saying that even when he has a bottle he still wants breast I don't mind to much as I am greatfull it's just tirering xx

Have you tried a dummy? I breastfed my daughter and found it exhausting and she never slept in her moses basket (ended up in bed with me for 3 years 😩🔫). She also used to soothe on breast unfortunately! The problem with breastfeeding is you don't know how much he's actually getting too 😩I then went on to bottle feed and give my son a dummy (which i'm doing again with this baby.) you get more of an idea of the milk intake and if he takes to a dummy it works wonders i find 😁 i also found that my son would only sleep on his front too. (ignore what midwives/heath visitors say about how they should sleep, it's what's best for baby and you.)
Hope some of my experience could help you! xx
