I've heard and read about all these breastfeeding shaming situations and I prepared my self for what I would do and say to someone that tried to put me in that position BUT I never ever thought that my own husband would make me go through that in public while I had a damn blanket. "There's kids here" seriously?! I'm feeding OUR kid!!!! What should I let my child go hungry?!
@js_kidsmom, that method is great, but right now it’s been so hot I can’t imagine wearing 2 shirts in 90 drgeee weather. I got a cover with a mesh for baby to breath. I’ll use it with this baby maybe it will work
@alekandaryasmommy @pretty1npunk use the two tshirt method i promise you it will keep you cover without having to put a blanket on their faces. I'm a size e/ddd and it covers me. No one in my family notices that I'm breastfeeding until they hear her suckling or when she chokes. Lol
@alekandaryasmommy, it really shocked me and mad me feel horrible. I expected it from ignorant people but my own husband? It breaks my heart
My husband shames me too. My son didn’t like a blanket so sometimes I wouldn’t use it because it’s either him crying or people seeing a part of my boob. And he would shame the crap out of me
if he knew you were gonna breastfeed I think he shouldve mentally prepared for it I believe
@pierced_momma, exactly what I told him, we were at the pediatrician and the kids looked about 6 and 7. I walked in the drs room with the blanket and the dr said to take the blanket off because our baby had a heat rash and I just gave my husband "that look" and he felt bad.
@alekandaryasmommy yes. It was either that or go to the car to breastfeed which would have probably killed alot of time.
