Disgusting isn't a word that should be in the category of breastfeeding. I would be angry too, anyway what us she thinking that your whole breast and nipple will be out?

I have to say, it was very freeing to breastfeed in public. Some people would stare so I stared back. I usually covered because that's how I was comfortable but the times I didn't, I could have cared less. Don't like it, don't look!

It’s not like you’d be flashing people for the hell of it! Forget what your mom said girl, breastfeeding is a beautiful thing, you should embrace it however you choose 👍🏻🤷🏼‍♀️💕

@theinkedmommy, @g_lynn, @scarapella1, ya I am so frustrated and angry, we always argue about this kind of stuff. I said my nipple will not be showing. There are girls that show more boob with the clothes they wear than I will be breastfeeding. My daughter needs to eat and it’s a natural thing to do

@alyssa_hoffmaster, yes! I see more girls wearing shirts with their boobs out than there is breastfeeding. It's not like you see much when they are feeding,

@scarapella1, right, people only get mad when they see it because they know a baby is breastfeeding, it’s not like they see the whole boob.

If I was able to breastfeed my DD I would have done it wherever I sat/stood/walked but I'd cover up with at least a blanket. I doesn't bother me in the least to see a mom breastfeeding her baby at a restaurant table, park bench or walking around shopping. Covered or not. But as for me I'd cover up but still feed wherever I damn well pleased.

@alyssa_hoffmaster absolutely, I don't give a fark what anyone thinks about BFing in public. People are just so ignorant anymore. If it ain't agenst the law then shut your face!! 😁 Awhile back my SO and I took Jocey to a museum and in a row of benches in the middle of a big room a lady was BFing her baby. It looked like the entire room didn't care. Even my SO saw her and he didn't care either.

@mommiesaremagical14, ya, like if it bothers you so much than just ignore it. We aren’t sitting there nude in the middle of a public place. I watched a video where there was a mother breastfeeding and then next to her was a girl with her boobs out and they were doing a social experiment and everybody told her mom to cover up but the girl with her boobs hanging out was sexy... like really!!!

@alyssa_hoffmaster Yeah, I was going to mention that too. How it's of for women to walk around with body parts hanging out and thats ok but a mother feeding her child is (how the hell do they think they survived as babies) is frowned upon. It's kinda like breastfeeding has become sexualized. It's a shame.

@alyssa_hoffmaster , take it with a grain of salt tell her you appreciate her opinion but she's done her job and raised you now it's your turn to raise your children she raised you as she saw fit and you are going to raise your children as you see fit. Everyone's entitled to their opinion. Even our own parents. An opinion is just a suggestion based on other's experiences.
