FTM, So the other day I was laying in bed and I began to feel my stomach get tight. So I lift my shirt and it's a tight little bump. I put my hand to see if maybe it's the baby kicking, but it gradually began to sink, and go away. It didn't hurt or anything, just felt tight. I don't understand what that was?
@mrsgoulding @courtney.welsh @chunkymonkies24 thank you mommies! I have no clue what a baby moving is supposed to feel like 😅 so it was very weird to me .
And I don't know what Braxton Hicks are.. can someone explain?
its the baby rotating. sometimes when mine has her back facing upwards, the spot hardens. its too soon for you to feel braxton hicks. sometimes if you massage the spot, the baby will rotate again. at least for me thats what it was. once you get farther along, the movements feel more defined and you will be able to recognize what the baby is up to.
@miracle0723, braxton hicks are like "fake contractions" I say fake but they are real, they just won't cause your body to dilate and they're irregular. Mine aren't painful, I know some people say they feel pain when they have them. Buy when I get them my stomach just gets super hard and then it'll loosen up. But they are supposed to go away after you drink a bottle of water and put your feet up.
