So I bathe my child 2 times a day morning and night and my mom is saying I shouldn't cause it's bad and what not etc..…

@mari_c, omg yes same with my son if he goes a day without a shower he starts getting pumps and he loves it and doesn't seem to irritate his skin

@nicoleflor3s1995 same! She's never had a problem with me doing it. But some babies are different but her skin seems to handle it well. If I don't bathe her, her skin tends to get bumps because of all the bacteria. So id rather just be safe and bathe her everyday.

@mari_c, yes that's why I shower him twice I mean sometimes I don't shower him 2 a day but most of the time I do since they like to grab stuff and his always eating and getting it all over him self

It dries their skin out, removes all of the good bacteria on their skin which can create an environment for the bad bacteria to take over, and can change the ph of their skin. Don’t do it unless the dr tells you to. It is excessive.

I prefer bathing my daughter every day & most of the time it's twice a day. I'm sure they feel nasty pooping and all that throughout the day so that's why I bathe her twice. in the morning and at night. It helps her relax too, to go to sleep. I don't think it's bad😊 especially with all the stuff they touch and get into she needs it. Lol

I can only think of it being bad is if they get dry skin or dry scalp from it. 🙂

I bathe my son every other day usually. Everyday if he's been playing outside and gotten really dirty. I moisturize his skin after every bath though. It's your baby do what you want :)

Yea I agree with the other ladies. Unless my son made a big mess on himself I only bathe him every other day . but there are some moms who does night time baths every night . so I guess its up to you. But personally I think it can dry out their skin

I personally don't think it is great for their skin or their immune system. But that is my opinion.
