breast feeding...i breastfed my daughter & loved the bond. PLUS when i stopped at 9 months, i realized how expensive formula is....

Breast feeding I am a nurse and believe me when I say it is the best for the baby and for you.

Wanting to breastfeed but idk if I'll be able to. May end up doing both but really unsure right now

I plan on breastfeeding and supplement with formula if I need to or can't produce enough. I chose to Breast feed because of the bonding process. Pregnancy has been really hard on my body. I have antepartum depression and I want to try to have a lot of sweet little things to look forward to, to avoid postpartum depression.

I'm planning to formula feed its more convent for my life at the moment and my dr told me that there is a very high chance of me not being able to produce any milk at all because of my anemia. Ive been anemic for about 8 years and it's gotten worse since pregancy and if i am able to produce milk I will lack some of the nutrients baby needs so formula is what I'm choosing so he can get what he needs plus I want his dad and others to be able to feed him when. I can't. I'm a fed is best gal I support moms who do either.

Both, start with breastfeeding then switching over when she gates bigger

I formula fed. But I would have breastfed if I didn't have the preeclampsia half way through my pregnancy and afterwards. I ended up on 3 different blood pressure meds to keep my blood pressure down. So I could not breast feed my daughter. Do what ever makes you comfortable. Don't feel guilty for not breastfeeding if you do not want to. As long as your baby is getting fed that is what matters.. And if you do want to breastfeed then that is good as well.

Breastfeed I heard it's better for the baby so I just want the best for her no matter how painful it might

I breastfed my daughter for 3 months and I stopped gave her formula because she was always hungry crying and wouldn't take my milk from the bottle she wanted me 24/7 she didnt sleep at nights. Both of us were miserable . After formula she started sleeping at night became totally different baby

Breast for the second time. It is a bit harder this time but I'm sticking with it unless God tells me different which I don't think he will. He made me to be able to do this.

My sons were in he NICU for a month so I pumped for a month but my supply was going down because I never had any baby latch on, so I had to switch to formula. I figured even if they are breastfed for a little bit then they get some nutrients from breast milk. We'll see how it goes for my daughter 🙂

@6plus1pettybetty idk I was told formula had waayy too many harsh chemicals in it for baby. Im just saying. I truly think breast feeding is best for baby. Thats what its meant for. Now don't get me wrong. Formula feeding can be fine as well some babies are different and there are different circumstances for some mothers so I agree with both I guess it just depends on what works for who

I did breast but they had to stitch me up horrible memory huhhh

@tiffanyf same with me with my first it was hard for me to produce the milk. I had no patience with her latching so I transfered to formula but this time I'm going to be patient because with my first she kept overly spitting up the formula no matter which one I tried plus the nutrtionist told me there is less spitting up when it comes to breast feeding so Imma try it this go around

@leahjay17 well I'm a "fed is best" advocate. Both breast and formula provide good nutrition. Breast works for us. It may not work for all, and in that case formula is great.

@leahjay17, the medicine I was taking at the time prevented me from breastfeeding. So I didn't have a choice really.

@leahjay17, I didn't want to go through the struggle of him not latching and I knew it was hard enough being a first time mom breastfeeding takes patience ... and i did try after I gave birth just to see how he would do and I didn't produce enough milk ..
