Just saw a video of a fb friend feeding their 1 month old baby baby food, and it's STRESSING ME OUT 😣

Now I'm stressing even more, because their pediatrician actually told them it's okay to introduce fruits and fruit juices at 3 weeks old??? Whaaaaaat?????

Uh no. 6 to 7 months. 😣😣

@raisingabi I know! The very earliest is 4 months, and most babies aren't ready then. She said "Yeah, we thought it was weird, but the pamphlet he gave us backed it up"

Just because it's in a pamphlet doesn't make it true! If I feel weird about anything my pediatrician says, I'm researching myself AND getting a second opinion.

@beautifulreyna I looked up the ped, he's been in practice for over 40 years. They probably thought giving babies food this early was fine 40 years ago 🙄

@joanna.davis wow that pediatrician should be retired or going back to college cause that's not right poor babies they gonna kill them I don't want to imagine. I only breastfeed mine and she gets bad colic I don't wanna imagine how that poor baby is feeling with the food they feeding wow it's crazy what world we living in now.

@beautifulreyna even if the food doesn't upset his stomach, which it probably will, it has no nutrional value for him at all. So instead of getting a belly full of nutrional milk for those meals, he's getting fattening fruits.

Wowwwww that's crazy I my twins doctor haven't recommended juices yet until after they're 1 bc of the sugars and acids, I can only imagine a 1 month old 😣
