Moms I need help. My son is 5 days old an has a hard time being burped he is breastfeeding. It's there another way to burp him other than the hospital way? He has had one choking episode an spent 48 hours in the NICU

I always put my LO on my shoulder and burped her. I also would cradle her on her tummy in my arm (like you hold a colicky baby) and burp her that way. She was a wiggly one so I had to get creative

If he doesn't burp, u can keep him elevated for at least 20 minutes after feeding (in your arms, on a pillow, on a boppy pillow, in a swing/ carseat)

U can put him on ur lap and hold his head while patting his back. Or over the shoulder and pat on his back. It's takes time but will eventually burp.
