Can someone please help me. My mom got my baby some Luvs diapers. I usually get huggies. So 2 days in, she's more fussy, crying, only wants to be held. Not waiting to sit down. Okay! So I chalked it up to, she's teething. So I'm nursing that. So then I start noticing && realizing it's her butt!! She has this crazy diaper rash. She never had one before. So I'm freaking out. I'm thinking, it's the fucking diapers. Excuse my French! But I read online information about kids getting chemical burn from them! Any suggestions for getting rid of this or what It could be ?

@zoeysmom28, Huggies actually gave my daughter a diaper rash where Luvs didn't phase her. I'd discontinue using Luvs on her, as she may be allergic to them. You can give her baking soda baths or colloidal oatmeal baths to help the rash.

Yeah i perfer huggies of any other but baby butt rash cream works everytime

My baby wears luvs diapers and has since she was 3 months old and she doesn't ever get a rash, but when she wears huggies she does. It could be that she is allergic and sensitive to those and not huggies. I would keep her bum dry and use diaper rash cream or coconut oil. Or you could even use cornstarch.

My kid got it from the commissary diapers.... I put a and d on it and it went away eventually. The desitin wasn't working on it

Thanks ladies!! I stopped using the diapers soon as I realized the reaction she got from them. The destin isn't working. So I'm going back to the ad ointment. I gave her colloidal oatmeal baths since I seen this rash. It looks blistery.
