Potty training any ideas? He is a little over 2.5 years old. Going number 1 not a problem but no. 2 I notice he rather hold it than go in potty and doesn't really like going on himself. So all suggestions welcome. I place potty where ever he is ie in living room while watching tv and that has helped. He even goes in toilet still and flushes after lol.
I did start that way with No 1 so I guess I can try and reinforce with No. 2
Have you tried to go to the bathroom with him or use a toy to demonstrate, I was told those helped people a whole lot. My parents had it where if he went to the bathroom, number 2, to show them and he would get a reward whether that was a sticker, toy, or even a treat it helped encourage him to want the reward. He still does it at age 6, but none the less he goes in the toilet
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
We've decided to start potty training our 22 month old since he can pull down his pants, we've thrown ourselves into it. Now the question is, can 22 month olds be manipulative 😳? This child is something else. If we're having him do something he doesn't want to do, like going down for a nap, he'll start saying potty, if we let him go, he just runs all over the place, I guess forgetting he wanted to use the potty 🤦🏿♀️ Is this a thing? I just go get him and have him sit on the potty and I tell him, "i...

Ahhh life with boys!!
Boys are something else I tell u!! I grew up with 3 sisters, one being my twin sister, so the boy thing was new to me. Anyway my 3 year old is newly potty trained so he says he needs to go potty. He’s at the stage where he’s just now going by himself, can wash his hands alone etc. so he comes out of the the bathrooms and says “mom I peed on the wall” sure enough just next to the toilet pee all over the wall!! Any boy moms can relate?!?
I need some potty training advice. My son is 18 months and is definitely ready for potty training. He lets me know when he has to go but the problem is when I put him on the potty, he absolutely freaks out. He’s afraid to actually go. He’ll sit on the potty happily any other time though. Is this just a phase that I have to wait out or is there something I can do to make him less afraid?
I trained my kids with m&ms, i would take them to the bathroom every 15 minutes, even thou they didn't have to go, and every time they do number 1 i would give them an m&m , both of them called me when they had to use number 2 because they had gotten used of me taking them to the bathroom. Every time they did number 2 i would give them 2 m&ms....
It work with both my kids... boy and girl...
