Going in to the hospital today could be the day, any tips of BF I plan I pumping as well but haven't received my pump or gotten any bottles or nipples. Do I need to pump right away or can it wait a few weeks?

Wait to pump a few weeks, get latch established, and a good bond, most newborns won't go back if introduced to the bottle toooooo early..
@rawwrdinoox, No problem. But I've always heard to get the baby to latch right after birth and don't let them give them a pacifier or a bottle it's nipple confusion! I hope that helps good luck!
@rawwrdinoox, Girl I wish I could help I failed at breast feeding. That was my problem I couldn't get him to latch but after he was born and you do skin to skin the nurse there said I don't know how to help you you'll just have to wait until the lactation Consultant comes in in the morning. I delivered at 8:14pm she wasn't helpful so we started off bad!
Any tips on getting her to latch? Etc? They called me to come in since I've been getting bad back pains and diarrhea (tmi I'm sorry)
latch latch latch. wait to pump. pumping early discouraged so many mamas. a pump doesnt indicate how much baby really gets
