When you want to pack a hospital bag but can't since you've had no money to buy yourself or the baby…

I hate when everyone is like "i bet you're getting everything ready by now" and in my head I'm like yeah riiiiight....

you don't need anything for baby just 1 outfit to go home. For me i did bring a going home dress and toiletries, but I had a c-section so i literally stayed in hospital clothes the whole time. I used the squirt bottle for my 🐱.

@bethann87, my husband knows I hate waiting until the last minute to do things and the fact that we are still looking for a place to stay before lil man gets here and we haven't bought anything for him yet because my husband decided he wanted to buy a used car and make a payment of $300 every month plus insurance and then fix everything that's wrong with it

@raisinghazel, I just like being prepared and it's like half of him is waiting until my baby shower to see what my family will buy before he saves any money for the baby

@mitiacarolina3 I'm the same about waiting. We have an older car we pay on, plus car insurance in the mountains is killer thanks to all the deer. We're trying to move right after baby gets here...get another car with 4 doors his only has two and get all this baby stuff plus baby is due right around Christmas......then he tells me not to stress and be positive!!! Lol I just hope it all comes together for us moms!!!

@raisinghazel, @raisinghazel, girl I don't even have a pack of socks... my job took me out of work when I was 3 months because I'm high risk so before I left I got him hired there because they payed more then his old job.... he hasn't saved anything... everything went towards his car and the speaker system in the trunk 😑 and now he feels like shit and crying because I'm about to be 8 months and we're staying with my dad and have nothing

@bethann87, mine tells me to take it easy but I'm like how? We have nothing done... our son doesn't have anything for him to come home in or a home to go too

😂😂😂 not even socks... yall are in a messed up position, and to bad you can't get baby items with tears sooo he needs to stop and man up. I definetly would suggest buying things 2nd hand. Check offerup,let go and facebook market. Usually people sell items atleast 50% off and give things away for free. And go to yardsales usually things are extremely cheap like .25-$1.... of course after your baby shower though

@raisinghazel, we have a place down here that sells baby items and clothes 70% off and I feel upset because I have to keep asking him if we can go to check it out

@mitiacarolina3 yea probably talking about once upon a child. The clothes are usually 2.50-7 a piece. I would look online before going there cause online is usually cheaper than that store.

Check with a local church they sometimes can help with your needs. Or look for an organization or something.
