anyone here had their baby without an epidural or planning on not getting one?
I didn't have time for an epidural. Had a really quick labor and birth
Natural mommy also of 3 kids and planning on going natural with this baby too. :)
I had 4 of my 5 children no epidural 2 no pain medicine what so ever.. I agree the contractions are probably the worse part all the pain is quick and baby is here B4 u Kno it. Good luck..
@kambam, thanks 🌻im sure i'll be getting lots of reminders to breathe when the time comes in case i freak out
Yup all natural. Its painful but it doesnt last forever. You gotta stay calm and breathe or you wont make it. My hospital let me try everything for pain: laughing gas, back massage, shower, etc. Nothing really helped but breathing and concentrating.
@torrey_, oh wow lol thats not too bad. and thanks ☺️
@lavender13, oh my lord😩 I was in labor 5 hours. Went to sleep no contractions. When I woke up I was full labor. I'll tag u in my birth story. It's a good read😂
@torrey_, sounds rough :/ i don't want any of it to last long. my mom was in labor for 23hrs with my brother😭
@lavender13, pushing? That was super easy for me. Just those contractions. Girl they hurt me so bad I got naked and tried to rip my hair closure off🤦🏾♀️
@torrey_, oh okay that doesn't seem too bad 😅the less time i can spend pushing the better. main part im worried about
@lavender13, only the contractions were painful but I only pushed about 5 minutes and he was out!
No ripping or tearing.
But the contractions are what hurt the most to me. I couldn't really breathe through it because it was so painful so I yelled lol and it worked for me
I'm going to try my hardest to not get one. But I'm also researching my other pain relief options other than the epidural.
@torrey_, howd that go? im worried about the pain but id rather avoid the needle 😅
All 4 natural - did it due to me being more scared of the needle then the labor itself. It really was the best your up and walking right after.
