For the past couple of days i pumped for 25min 12 times a day and put baby to my breast as much as i could but im still producing literally close to nothing. An oz all together out of both breasts. Whyyyy i dont understand.

@jcandbabye sometimes babies in the beginning. It does not mean that she's not getting enough. Also it takes time to produce milk while pumping. It took me about a month to get 4 oz on a continuous basis. Supplementing makes it worse though so if you can do without it, I would recommend not using formula. Keep at it and don't stress! You need to be calm to release the milk, picture your baby while you pump, it helped me. If you have any questions, please message me

I had the same problem. Ended up not being able to breastfeed my daughter. Of course she couldn't latch because of her tongue tie. So that might be why I couldn't produce. Is yours latching properly?

@torrey_ no shes definitely not getting anything she screams and crys and fusses and my pump was 300 bucks and works well enough i think. Ive even tried a manual pump. Maybe my body just doesnt work 😣
@jcandbabye, I can never pump so I stopped but baby gets more than enough. U can tell by how many wet diapers and weight gain. So hopefully you just not able to pump (which it could just be the pump, I had a shitty one)
@lawyeredmom if i dont supplement she wont get enough. I tried that and she lost 4oz instead of gaining anything thats how i know shes not getting anything
