Do you know how awesome the feeling is not to have to worry if you can get all the groceries you want from the store?! That (unless it's super duper unhealthy) you don't have to tell your child we can't get the snacks she wants?!
I remember being so flipping happy when we had enough money just to pay for bread and milk, and we paid in coins! Times when I had to tell Sammy that we couldn't get milk right now because "the store was out". I remember how ashamed I was that I couldn't even get my 3-year-old baby milk!
This weekend really brought that home! When we were getting our weekly groceries. Sammy pretty much had free rein to get her own food for the first time. She had a ball grabbing things and just putting it into the cart! Explaining why she wanted the item and for most things being allowed to plop it in the cart without having to put it back! She was skipping around the store like she owned it.
And do you know what it was like for me to see that and know that I was part of making that possible! And not only that but it was because I helped others when they needed me in their lives!? It was hard work don't get me wrong but it was worth it! And all it took to make this happen for her, for ME was someone believing in me!
You can do this too you know, by helping others! I believe in you!
🙌🙌 I can imagine how great that feels. Especially seeing your daughter happy.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
❤️Getting to know you❤️
Since our May group is growing strong and we have a lot of new mommies joining and sharing their bfp's...Thought it will be fun to get to know each other as we all share our pregnancy journey!
You know you have children when...
You get to work and notice that your pants have smudges of unidentifiable origin from the knee down. ?
I have a rant and this is just my opinion but I bet most of you mommies will agree.
If you can go get your nails done and pay 50 to 60 dollars then you can pay for your child’s milk and all that. I understand needing help with baby stuff but food I mean come on it’s not that much.
I know I don’t know your guys lifestyle but it pisses me off when girls get on wic and then go spend so much on themselves.
This!
I can totally relate. 💓
