I have a few questions about breastfeeding/pumping
My supply is coming in rather painfully. My breast are rockhard and very tender, especially towards the outer "perimeter". Is this normal? Is there relief for this pain? No matter how much i feed and pump my daughter, it doesnt seem to t go down much.
And when i pump, it pushes that "outer perimeter" further out making it even more firm and tender. Any way to prevent this?
And also i find i have to lean all the way forward and hunch over in order for the milk to go into the cup. This is very painful because my baby was a c-section and i had an epidural. So this position causes pain in both my back and my core.
Somebody help me 😭😭😭

I had a csection. Use a pillow to press on your incision a little. Trust me I understand, I'm still in a little discomfort and numb a little under my belly button

Try hand expressing instead. Massage your boobs while Baby nurses and do warm compressions. Be careful pumping as it creates a oversupply, engorgement, clogged ducts, mastitis.
