I'm having a baby and I get no congratulations from my extended family. My sister gets engaged and everyone texts her. Not saying that that isn't important. It's just as important and exciting! But why do they disapprove of me so much... I just don't understand 😔

Similar thing happened with me. I dont think my husbands mom is as excited for us to be pregnant again(with out last, that is a boy and we have 2 girls) hopefully your family will come around.

@hanahmarie2183, yea it just sucks because my aunts and I used to be so close when I was growing up. One of them is even my godmother and I haven't heard anything from her. It just hurts :/

Thank you, yeah it was sad when she was down visiting and anything mentioned about the coming baby she'd ignore it and started talking about our 10 month old or trying to put me down saying i was going to struggle with 3.

I know how that is my mom is happy for all her friends daughters having kids but when I'm pregnant it's like why did you do that etc etc like why are you happy for them just because there in there 30s it's seriously petty of family I feel they should be happy, I know it's hard but it's them who are missing out
