My break was short lived. Gave him his zofran at 8 and he started throwing up again anyway at 10:30. I'm at a loss. He hasn't eaten all day and apparently is now not keeping fluid down either. That zofran should've given him relief for at least 6 hours! Any nurses or Moms out there with any input?!? 😪
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
Totally irrational so please no judgement... baby daddy is over for visitation and he took Karoline's picture and it infuriated me. I don't want him having pictures of my daughter. He just posts them on social media and claims how we keep him from Karoline and what a great dad he is even though he doesn't do shit. How do I get over this mamas? I'm really struggling with it lately. I just don't want him to have any part, seeing him with my daughter disgusts me .

Not a nurse but have made several er trips with sick kids. Keep pushing fluids. It you can pinch (gently, don't really pinch) the skin (usually best on back of hand) and it doesn't pop back quickly then he is getting dehydrated and definitly need to be taken to er for fluids. My oldest would refuse liquids everytime he got sick, so we had several er trips. If he's old enough give him pedialyte. Even if he throws that up hell keep the electrlytes In his body. Most likely a flu bug, but still get him to the doctor as soon as you can to be on the safe side. They could give you better advice. But I do know you need to push those fluids

@keirasmomma, thanks girl! I've taken him to the doc twice already they keep giving a different diagnosis. He's drinking pedialyte now and has eaten a few pieces of bread. Im waiting to see what he keeps down this time

Hope he feels better soon and definitly rooting for some liquids to stay down. Its pure hell to sit in a hospital and watch your baby be hooked to an iv for a few hours to rehydrate. Im glad my boy is 15 now and can understand the necessity of drinking fluids when fevered. Still a struggle though. I haven't had that problem with any of the younger ones. Baby is only 6 months and we haven't had to deal with flu like illnesses yet...
