@deemamibear Makes sense! I was just replying to @briannahill1293 comment about people looking at you a different way in NYC, which was new to me too. I think she will be okay but you are the mama! 😊

@simmiebaby, I've never heard of people looking at you any kind of way cause your birthday is on that day. I'm just thinking she's going to dislike the fact that she has to listen to the sad stories that happened on that day, I don't know maybe I'm just over thinking.

Ask them to wait a day then?

@rose135975, that's true, that's what I thought at first it's a positive on a day full of negative but then started thinking of how she would feel knowing what happened on that day. You know how much thought we give things when we are pregnant. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm having her via c-section and it's scheduled for that day.

I'm from NYC too and I was in Manhattan at the time, and I've never heard of people looking at you like the devil in NY. Two of my friends who are also from Manhattan share Sept 11th birthdays and they weren't looked at differently. My grandmother has that birthday as well.

@deemamibear your daughter will learn about it regardless in school. It's a sad part of history now but it can still be a beautiful day of remembrance.

My niece was born via c-section on 9/11.. I like to think of it as a positive on a day that is filled with sadness.

@deemamibear, wow so you got to see somewhat of the action how horrible 😔😔😔 I was in 3rd grade at the time all I remember was being able to see the smoke from the buildings. Shortly after I was picked up from school and we were watching it on NY1 and before you knew it one of the towers collapsed

My daughter's b day Is 9-11. She is 7.

@briannahill1293, yes it was. I lived in manhattan at the time and I remember the people walking past my apartment building full of dust. 😏

Such a sad day
