NEED ADVICE!
My daughter is almost 2 and is now going through a screaming phase. She will screech and scream at everything, sometimes hit, other times laugh. We've tried hand smacks, mouth taps, putting her in a different room by herself, etc, and nothing has worked. It's gotten worse. Any advice on how to get her to quit?
@therurallady I'll have to try that. She's spoiled with hugs, kisses, and play time, though, so hopefully it works. Lol.
I would keep ignoring it and walk away if she hits. Or, ask her of she needs some attention. I read an article the other day that giving your kid a hug when they're being naughty can help calm them down. I can't say whether it works or not though, since I haven't tried it. I have asked my kids if they needed attention when they were acting up before and usually, it works pretty well. After a few minutes of hanging out, they calm right down and want to go play
So this is a really weird tricked that worked for me, I downloaded all my daughter favorite song to my phone.
(Songs from frozen, trolls, YouTube)
And in the morning and while her brothers sleep we just go and sing and dance and she stopped yelling but she still very loud. But you can try it turn the music up and just let her go nuts
@santistevanmommie No. She just out of the blue screams at the top of her lungs and charges at someone (not playfully, either). Other times she'll be sitting on the couch and randomly start screeching.
@beebaby Not a clue. She just randomly started it 2 weeks ago and won't stop.
@beebaby We went 3 days of not giving her attention during those fits and not even looking her way or responding when she would do it. She did it worse and then added in hitting with it. So now it's screaming fits with her swinging her arm back and clocking us with a baby fist when we don't look at her.
@s_r_z_15 aww. I love baby snuggles
