@kaydens_mom, don't worry! It really is different for everyone. And even though I said it was the worst experience ever, it was still the BEST day of my life :) you will be so filled with joy when your baby arrives that you will not even care about your good/bad experience giving birth to them 😊
@kaydens_mom, I'm sorry it is really different for everyone I'm only telling you my experience maybe for you since it's your first time it won't be that bad 😊
@nessairieray, lol oh man you got me scared now
It's bad 😔 the epidural hurts like hell and then they put a catheter inside you so you can pee in the bag ugh I hated every bit of it and it literally was for nothing because I ended up getting an emergency c section. Now my back is all screwed up 😒😑 it is so worth it for your baby but the aftermath sucks 😞
@aboutellesbabes, yeah being induced has more risks 🙁
@emiliasmommy15, I'm praying I never have to be induced again! I don't think my body or babe responded well to any of it!
@aboutellesbabes, awhh thanks lol i hope this time is jst as smooth or even smoother i know they say with second it goes much faster so we shall see
It's different for everyone! But for me it was horrible haha I was in labor for 7 hours before I broke down and had to get the walking epidural. Then I progressed a little bit more and the contractions were getting worse and babe did not like that! He went into distress and I had to have a c-section. So they had to give me the regular epidural, but since I had already had the walking epidural, I got soooo sick and was throwing up non-stop even after babe was born. Worst experience EVER. But at least I got my little guy :)
@emiliasmommy15, okay I'll take your word I hope it isn't to bad
With my first i went in n we started with cervadil to ripen(thin) the cervix n it put me into labor so i never needed pitocin or anything.. i had my daughter all natural and it all lasted 5hrs the whole labor process plus i was 41wks 5days w her when i had her... but looks like this time i might not need to be induced so we will see.. its not that bad but thats just me and like i said i never had to get pitocin n all tt
I had a similar situation to @emiliasmommy15, with my first! Less than 12 hours, I had cervadil and it sent me into full labor... 4 hours after my labor started my daughter was born... no pitocin! With the second... I was induced again... contractions were 2-3 minutes apart... my BP spiked, so they switched care from my midwife to an OB, so I waited 5 hours before they made any decisions... but it was not enough to finish dilating, so I went on pitocin at the lowest setting...and 2 hours later my second daughter was born! Both deliveries were done without any pain meds... it was painful... but nothing I could not work through
