As we laid our precious baby boy down to sleep, our hearts ached. We still have questions and don't understand why this happened to our sweet innocent baby boy. What we do know is one thing. We are LOVED! God has surrounded us with gentle hands of comfort to help us get through such a hard time in our lives. We couldn't be anymore grateful for the friends and family we have. Baby Dakota is safe and sound in the arms of our Heavenly Father. He had a purpose so great that we can't even begin wrap our heads around it. We are beyond blessed! I was so skeptical about the open adoption after seeing teen mom. I was sad and distant when my sister inlaw had decided this route. But once living the adoption life and going through it I am amazed at how truly amazing this family is.
