@aaquino, a really good reliable site to go on to calculate what your body needs is iifym.com Google the iifym calculator and put in your stats. It will calculate how much you should be eating. Specifically what your macros should be (how many fats, carbs and proteins you should be getting)
Chances are you are probably not eating enough. Before I went to school for nutrition I was a trainer and worked in weight loss for 12 years. And not eating enough is the biggest mistake most of my clients make.
Once you know what you should be eating, download a good app to track your food. SparkPeople is great or myfitnesspal is good too. This will help you get acquainted with what it means to meet your macros for the day.
Then just keep in mind that the scale is not the best tool for measuring weight loss. You don't know if you've lost 5lbs of fat and gained muscle or what's happening because it just gives you a straight number.
Take measurements with a tape measurer and retake those every few weeks too.
Hope this helps!
@chantellekrown I'm not really sure what I could be doing wrong but before I go running to a doctor to make sure it's not health related I figured I'd find out if maybe it's what I'm eating or how much I'm eating
Oh awesome I've been on a diet for 2 weeks now going to the gym eating way less and healthier meals and drinking tons of water but I've only dropped about half a pound now my sister in law is convinced I'm not eating enough but the problem is I'm not hungry to eat more then my 3 meals a day
