I like the nexplanon.. it's safe to have while beastfeeding. Some women get wacky periods (probably the worst thing about it) but it's really convenient because you get it put into your arm and you don't have to worry for the next 3 years. However, my doctor mentioned to me that if I don't have a good milk supply going before I get the nexplanon then I have an increased chance of it reducing my supply so she suggested I wait until 2 months PP to get it inserted.

Maybe the copper iud? I've never had it, but it doesn't use hormones at all! So no crazy hormone feelings :) you should look them up!
