@lezlie527, Im sorry to hear there giving you a hard time to but don't let them make you feel less of a mom if anything you should be glorified for taking the rough step of going back to school after having your baby.. your probably going to get a hard time with them about getting formula but they will give it.. I just don't get why they can't be more supportive of choices moms make.. makes no sense

I told them i was going to just formula feed with my son, and they kept telling me breast is best. Blah blah which I agree, but I definitely want the formula since I'll be going back to school once I recover from my c-section. And they won't provide me a breast pump because I won't be going enough hours out of the week. I have a breast pump but with my daughter it was difficult to get a milk stash going..so I'll rather be safe and just ask for the formula just incase it doesn't work out for me..

@athenamarie4115 #fedisbest 👌 i went on a rant about how i hate seeing moms say breast is best when fed is best. Breastfeeding is VERY good for babies but at the end of the day whatever happens, our babies being full and happy is whats best whether they are breastfed or formula fed

@noahs.mommy, oh I know how you feel the give you so much shit cause they feel we are being lazy and not trying I feel just some moms can't for whatever reason to me yeah breast feeding is good but feeding is feeding no matter where it comes from

@athenamarie4115 i was devastated and i had to go into the office 2 days after stopping and i was still trying to find a way to breast feed even though i couldn't and yeah thats all they were doing to me, like i had gone through enough i didn't need that lol

@milky_mama2017, yeah I use to pump every two hours for 15 to 20 mins and the main reason I did was cause I have a messed up boob from a previous car accident I got into and it's really hard to latch baby I tired explaining that to her and still didn't understand.

@athenamarie4115 I'm sorry hun. Yeah my WIC office said that a person has to only breastfeed in order to be eligible for a free one.

@juliaschade41, yes and when I asked about the breast pump she said they do offer them but prefer that I breast feed. With me I have one of my breasts that got messed up in a car accident so it's so hard for me to latch my baby on even the lactating nurse had a hard time when I told her that she said well it is possible you just have to keep trying... ugh like yeah lady I've tried

@noahs.mommy, yeah sometimes we can't help the fact that we can't breast feed. And I'm sorry to hear you had to stop so soon. I think instead of judging you they should be thankful you are concerned about your baby eating. As mothers we put enough judgement on our selfs we don't need other people to add to our plate.

@kambam, I know and I even explained to the lady that with my other two girls I pumped and breast fed at night and I had a full supply when I told her that she acted so surprised like it was impossible.... maybe it's my hormones from being prego but I was super mad

Cause they want you to breast feed at the breast. Its like they hate bottles and anything to do with them. I had to stop breastfeeding for medical reasons and i went in to explain what happened and to start getting formula checks and all they kept doing was asking me questions and telling me that breastfeeding is better and how "we don't give out formula for the 1st month" is my son supposed to starve then? Thanks lady. I was so mad. Even to this day they ask me about breastfeeding and i haven't breasfed since he was 2 weeks old 😐

Right cuz WIC is actually supposed to offer you a free breast pump if you're going to solely breastfeed. Im going to get a free one from mine.

Its ok to pump just not before 4 to 6 weeks so you dont cause over supply, the pump works just not effective as a baby getting the milk out

Pumping is definitely a challenge. If she's not an LC she shouldn't be saying shit though
