I used quite a few different bottles & my baby favorite is the comotomo, I love it as well just wish they had more color options.
Tried almost every bottle out there and the Joovy Boob glass bottles were by far the best ones for my little one. I bought the Naturally Nood nipples with them, they are softer and never had a problem with nipple collapsing even with the regular nipples that come with the bottle. These bottles are easy to clean and you can get a silicone sleeve to put on the bottle for better grip that comes in different colors. My kid has dropped these many times and they never broke or chipped. They have a plastic ring that acts as a vent to prevent any air and reduces gas and collic. Love them
@carrsonsmommy, my son just got diagnosed with acid reflux. A few weeks ago he started projectile spitting up right after nursing they did a ultrasound of his stomach to see if he had pryloric stanocis (sp?) and that was negative so they gave us drops and it helped for awhile but we've been using dr brown too. I'm looking into getting him into see a chiropractor that works with infants to see if that helps
With my daughter we used dr brown bottles. With my son he can take any bottle but he so colicky that I've been trying diffrent ones. Right now we are using MAMS brand. So far so good he is not as fussy
Drop ins were my go to to after nothing else kept my boys from getting too much air. So with this baby I'm just buying them from the get go! I love the way they play with the bag and make it crinkle with their little fingers anyway lol but they've just always been our best best so I'll stick with what works. But I swear the bottle design is so different then 8 years ago, I was shocked to see they changed as much as they did
We had a very hard timw, getting my son to take a bottle, he finally accepted Munchkin Latch bottles and that's what we used the rest of the time we needed them.
Mine loves and will only use parent choice from Walmart
My first child I used playtex bottles with disposal liners. Its what I saw my sister use with all her kids. And not knowing what to do with being a first time mom. It was the most sanitary way. Cause I stayed with her till my baby was 3 months. Then I got some bottles off of Amazon that has a straw from bottle to nipple. Best thing every! We only had one car. So when stuck in traffic no propping bottle. No screaming child.
2nd child was very difficult. After bf experiment with 4 different bottles before she would latch. Munchkin latch system. And avent breast like bottle nipple.
If you're going to pump then Kiinde is the best!!! No mess and no clean up!! Just pump, store and go!! 😁
I was truly blessed when I was pregnant with my first born I had no clue which bottles to use but I knew I wanted to breastfeed. After having her and she ended up going to St. Francis Medical Center's NICU, they gave me everything including a hand press- breast pump all Medela. I have over 40 bottles 1 oz, 2.5 oz and 5 oz. This is the best system and I just zip bagged everything up in in a tote when I weaned my oldest off.
I use the munchkin bottles! My baby loves them. I haven't tried any other kind.
I used the munchkin latch bottles the nipple was more like my breast so my son took it easier.
@babyb17 That's so weird. Maybe the nipple isn't fast enough, that's the problem I'm having, it collapses so I'm going to get some faster ones.
@amandahenry546 I have no clue. we always switch to another bottle and he immediately drink it all..
We used tommee tippee. Quick and easy to clean. They also made the transition to sippy cups very easily with their in between cup
@noahs.mommy I've tried with the other bottles, the ones I can buy at the store. The only ones he did ok with on a size 2 nipple was the mam and dr Brown but the como tomo may just be slower than the other newborn nipples, I hope that works so we can use his como tomo again. Hopefully he will start using the faster nips but I figure it can't hurt anything just makes him drink slower and he never has gas lol
We used Dr.Brown both the regular sized ones and the wide ones. We love dr.brown. Our son had horrible acid reflex when he was 1m-6m old it was horrible we were giving him med which helped for a little while and then nothing seemed to help. We tried different bottles but these seemed to be the ones to help the most with his acid reflex and being Colic. I highly recommend these bottles and will keep them for when we have a new baby if breastfeeding doesn't work out with the next one too.
Avent and Playtex airflow. We love the Playtex bottles more though because of the shape and the nipple flow is good for my son.
@qxeenbreezy_ That seems to be what a lot of people are saying so maybe a bigger hole or faster nipple.
@amandahenry546 it'll happen at first because he's not used to the new flow but after a couple uses he'll be fine. My son does that every time i change his nipple size
I absolutely LOVE the NUK bottles and nipples. They barely spill when the baby falls asleep with a bottle and the bottle keeps the formula warm for as long as the baby eats the formula. And the nipples have different stages for when your little one is ready for faster feeding. And they are so easy to clean.
@babyb17 Why can't he finish his Milk with como tomo?
@jennatess Absolutely my favorite too, they are well worth the money, but really if you order from Amazon they are about the same price or cheaper than ones like Dr. brown. I got 2 5oz for 7 dollars, you can't beat that
@noahs.mommy I'll have to order some, he used newborn or 2nd stage in every bottle so I figured the newborn one would work, he's 10 months but seems to get choked with a faster flow but I'm definitely going to try because I love como tomo bottles
@halfscripts, my daughter was doing the same thing with her MAM bottles
My MIL suggested to just make the opening a little bigger in the nipple because she thought maybe she wasn't getting enough milk anymore. So, I did, and DD is no longer taking in too much air & as gassy as she was
I've been using Tommee Tippee bottles since she was born and they are absolutely the best. Not only are they super cute but they are so easy to clean since I can fit my hand and sponge inside the bottle when thoroughly cleaning.
My baby boy LOVES Dr Brown's and Playtex Vent aire.. Como tomo he can't finish his milk.. 😩
I am going to get the NUK products with this baby. I used them before, and they were so much easier to clean for me and my husband loves the brand as well.
I used the dr browns bottles and it helped with my daughters colic tremendously!! They're a pain in the ass to hand wash but if you have a dishwasher then they're a breeze to clean
My daughter has a lip tie & perhaps tongue tie, she can't do any bottle that has the form of a boob, her mouth just can't latch. Therefore Dr. Browns saved us the first couple of months + helped with colic, ZERO bubbles with that brand.
Now we have switched to glass bottles and are currently using Life Factory & Pura Kiki stainless steel.
I used Dr. Browns for my first born. I loved them but having to wash them in the middle of the night after a feeding was just too much. I found these glass bottles that worked amazing, but broke too easily. So for my second and third I was determined to use something new, and I found the best ones for my boys. Avent was the winner. I only used bottles for the first six months, and My boys had no gas or colic issues.
Tommee Tippee are my babies favorite. Very easy to clean and no leaking. I also have Dr. Browns but haven't really given them a run just yet.
#momlifegear cub loved nuk nipple and sippy type silicon bottles or is it rubber idk but those r the ONLY ones he loves
@halfscripts, maybe try a faster flow? My daughter was the same way she went from Nuk 3 holes to 5 holes in the nipple
@amandahenry546 you probably need to get a size up nipple (with a bigger hole) my son collapses his nipples once the flow is too slow and he starts trying to suck harder, then the nipple collapses.
For anyone that is saying the dr browns bottles leaked really bad for them. I learned that you have to make sure the end of the tube isn't submerged in the formula or as the baby is sucking the formula will get sucked through the tube and pushed out the side of the ring and leak. Ever since I've made sure to not have the tube submerged the leaking stopped. I use dr browns options bottles. I also learned to shake his formula and get it all mixed up BEFORE put the ventilation system in the bottle that way the formula doesn't go up the tube and out the ring.
@barefootmom oh no that's awful! I had it happen a couple times but I only used them a couple times a day if that
Dr Brown's bottles!
My Olivia has a cleft soft palate, they have bottles with special nipples and they are called "pigeon" bottles. They are almost $20 / bottle and they would have to be special ordered.
Her occupational therapist came while she was in the NICU to see what bottles worked for her.
The Dr Brown's bottles literally saved her life.
She loved the short fat NUK bottles when she was a baby because they were easier to hold, until about 8 months when I switched over to Avent with the anti-colic nipple. No problems at all with either.
@jloop7509, these always leaked for me big time, I wanted to like them but they soaked my baby every time
I went with the 4 oz Ball mason jar bottles with slow flow nipples. They are awesome and have silicone sleeves for baby to easily grip! Perfect size for freezing my milk and virtually no wasted liquid gold💗
@pessie83 I loved como tomo so much but the nipple is constantly collapsing, does this happen to you or do you know why this might happen with mine?
We used Avent Naturals with our first... she was a preemie so I had to pump, supplement to increase the calories of my breast milk and bottle feed... she did great, no gas issues, and when the time came to stop supplementing and try direct to breast, her latch was fine... she just preferred the bottle texture over my nipple, so we used a nipple shield to help her!
Evenflo advanced are great too, my LO's 2nd favorite and they are cheap which is fantastic
I used NUK for the past couple weeks and my son was doing great but now he seems to be sucking harder and faster and taking in a lot of air. He's getting gassy and constipated so I'm on the hunt for a new bottle 😧😧
Only ones my son hated were Nuk with that weird shaped nipple, he didn't care for Nuby that much either
I used the Avent glass bottles. Only leaked a couple times but the lid had come loose. Worked great. If your worried about your baby holding them, they are a bit heavy but your baby will surprise you with how much the can hold up
We used dr browns. I tried like four different kinds but those were the only ones that didn't frustrate her. She didn't have any issues with spitting up. 10/10
My daughter takes all. I've used dr. Brown. I liked them because they helped my daughter with gas. I didn't like that the nipple would get pushed in though while she was drinking. I've used the medela one that comes with the pump and the nipple also got pushed in. We have also used the avent natural, no complaints on that one. Lastly, we've used the comotomo bottles. I like how they felt and since they're wide they're so easy to clean! The only problem is that sometimes it leaks. Maybe it's because I don't seal it correctly.
I loves the Avent bottles. Used the classic with oldest and the naturals with youngest. Will be going this route again with naturals as long as baby will use it.
Avent hands down! You can buy nipple converters to convert them to cups. I bought handles for mine and they were very helpful as well as the choices of flow for nipples and sterile options they have for storage to ensure it when you are away or out and about! These bottles last and clean up well. I breast feed with my last two and only used hem for sippy cups but it was so much cheaper to buy a pack on sippy cup nipple converters then to pay for sippy cups.
I used to use mam bottles until I got evenflo and Dr Brown bottles. I love the evenflo and Dr Brown bottles more than the mam bottles.
Avent & tommee tippee with my daughter. I just got my son some dr. Browns so we'll c how those work
@sumria, yes. The older ones.. The middle piece use to just sit on top.... But now it goes down in the bottle....
I've been using Avent "Natural" with a number 1 nipple for supplementing my baby the transition from breast to bottle and back hasn't been a problem even ontop of the fact he is still younger then the age they advise you to start using a bottle unfortunately we have to due to the fact I am already returning to work and he has a hard time latching my actual breast. I am very happy with them, everyone's situation is different so whatever allows you to be the best Mom is all that matters!
@blendedfamilyof7, my son is the opposite he latched better with small nipples he sucked in too much air with big hips!
@sumria, girl it leaks for me too!!!!! And you're not supposed to tighten the lids super tight because too much pressure messes with the vent but if you don't tighten them they leak 😡😡
My breast and also Mam bottle. My husband used it twice on the baby while I was out and she did great. No leaks, and slow and steady flow. ❤
My son has taken to any bottle I've given him but he uses Avent for the most part.
I personally hated doctor browns a huge pain to clean my son could never get a good latch because the nipples are so small I use tommee tippee and love them! Fast to clean and way easier for baby to latch on
@sumria, mine did at first but they have new bottles that the middle piece goes inside....
Dr brown bottles with my daughter but this time i am not sure what i will use since i plan to breastfeed first. But dr brown bottles helped my daughter with not sucking too much air in .. she had tummy issues with other bottles but dr browns were wonderful🙌🏻👌🏼
Dr. Browns are the best hands down. All other bottles made my baby have gas...
Dr. browns because it's the only bottle my kid can drink and not barf right up
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Dr. browns because it's the only bottle my kid can drink and not barf right up
