My older sisters name is Darlene. I'm Arlene. I hated it.

Jump to today and I have 2 girls 16 months apart named Arianna and Giavanna. 🤷🏽‍♀️💓

We're trying to figure out if we'll keep the Anna at the end of this girl's name.

Thankfully we are having a girl. I was having a really hard time with a boy name! It was seriously stressing me lol. I think when they get older and you're yelling for them or something they would constantly get confused. Lol. I probably wouldn't have gone with it.

I wondered the same thing. My son's name is Elias and if this baby was a boy hubby wanted to name him Silas. But I thought I'd constantly be calling the wrong name on accident because they are so close.

@chantellekrown Kara is pronounced (Car-uh) the same as Lara lol ha I just feel like those would be better as twin names 😂 but he is dead set on it

I think you could do both names but make sure the pronunciation is different

If Kara is pronounced CARE-ah

Then Lara can be pronounced LAR-ah not LARE-ah

Or vice versa

Then they don't rhyme and there is differentiation

But either way, even if they do rhyme it would be cute.

@scx327 he has reasoning though lol he's a MAJOR superman fan....and Kara is supergirl, and Lara is superman daughter on another world ha and that's why he wants to do it that way. So there is some creativity lol

It won't be stupid, but when the girls grow up I don't think they'd like their names very much. Personally I wouldn't like it if my sister was named Lara if I'm already Sarah. I'd ask my parents why they weren't more creative lmao
