Yeah what is it?

Strep B. I was told it an bacterial infection and will need to go through 4 hours of antibiotics when I go through labor so baby won't catch it. Many are telling me it's nothing to worry about but can't help it because my son was a NICU baby as soon he was born. I'm just terrified to go though it again

I'd have the baby tested at birth. I'm not trying to scare you but a baby just died 3 days into this world whose mom who tested negative but the baby somehow tested positive. It's scary how it happens but you can get it after the test and they don't ever test you again for it.

They give you antibiotics trust me you will be fine. I know plenty of women who have tested positive and babies came out just fine.. Don't believe everything you read online.

@deafmama16 I have had GBS before. It's not a huge problem, the L&D will just give you an antibiotic during delivery of the baby, and everything will be good.
