I planned on turning Charlie's swinging crib into a little bench- it's sat ontop of the wardrobe for the last year and ended up throwing it out today 😂 thankyou :) aww sounds lovely though, you should just get round to finishing it, it will look amazing im sure!

It may never happen! 😂 We have tons of photos but this particular frame wants them landscape & where I use my phone 99% of mine are taken portrait so don't fit 😭 That's a gorgeous photo of Charlie! We have a bunch of canvas' s of the boys so wanted a family theme in the bedroom. If it ever gets done!

@sara-lou86, ooh do show me when it's done! I've got thousands of pictures of Charlie it's just a case of getting them printed. I've also had this on a canvas since December and yet to hang it!

Ours is the same. Been working on a large family frame for months now 😂

@kayteamay, glad I'm not the only one then! It'll just be nice to have a room that's all matched and nice. That's the same with us, when we found out we were expecting it was a rush to just get enough furniture to hold everything so other than the bed and the cot we bought everything from Facebook as it was cheaper. Hence the mix match. I'll definitely have a look though, won't be for a while yet. Go away in two weeks and still yet to buy any clothes 😂 x

Ah its hard when you are all in together. I used to have all mismatched furniture that i had either got for free or people gave to me and i hated it. Its just a case of switching it all overtime. What you have there is lovely though. You can get frames in the pound shop, a tin of paint isnt much and print some lovely black and white photos of Charlie. It will feel like a new room! Look in charity shops for lamps (im addicted to charity shops!) I redis my whole dining room for less than £100 thanks to ebay and charitt shops. My husbands still in shock!

@kayteamay, definitely. Thing is we never bothered to do anything with the room as we were planning to have moved out already, but things cropped up and that ain't gonna happen for a while now so gotta make the best with what we've got ☹️ I like the sound of that though! X

Does charlie have his own room or are you in a one bed?

Keep an eye out on selling sites on facebook as you can always find bargains. X

Get a nice black throw for the end of your bed aswell and some silver and black lamps for your bedside table and it will be gorgeous!

@kayteamay, I was sick of Charlie not having his own little theme with sharing with us so did he blue but now I feel I made a mistake. Just sick of our bedroom being mix matched. The horrendous brown carpet doesn't help 🙄 white cot, white bed, black headboard, dark brown bedsides, light oak wardrobes. Ugh it's a nightmare! X

Not at all. I love interior design. So desperate to decorate our room but we are having building work done on the house so therea no point yet

Id paint the back wall grey and hang some black and white photos in black frames. If your bedding is all patterned dont put anymore patterns up x

@gabilicious, I've got a few of those willow tree figures. Not sure if you've seen them but I like the idea of getting some square box shelves to put them in. I'm just so indecisive 🙈 everything's a bit mix match at the minute so just want everything to match and look nice 😩 but with it being Craig's parents were limited to what we can do :/ x

@ells123, that's what I'm thinking. All of our bedding is black and white. But it's all patterned, I feel like it would clash too much with a patterned paper :/ x
