I need advice iv been breastfeeding exclusively for 4 months but it seems either my milk supply is dropping or she's going through a growth spurt. either way she's not satisfied and is hungry. should I supplement with formula until my breast milk goes up? It's been like this for two days I just hate knowing she's hungry

@kambam, but usually when she's done feeding she doesn't bother staying in my boobs

@kambam, yea if it was up to me I would be holding her and nursing her all day but I have a 15 month old that needs me as well so that's not possible

@kambam, okay today she's better not so cranky like the past few days so I'm hoping this means I'm making more milk and it was just a growth spurt she did sleep for 7 hours the day before last so she's probably just growing it's just I didn't make enough milk for my first so I'm so paranoid this time around

@kaytibug2009, I'll have to try that it's better today she hasn't been feeding so much and not so cranky like the past 2 days I'm hoping my body got the hint and started making more milk

Do you pump in between times that you nurse? I do to help make sure my Angel gets plenty of milk and it keeps my supply strong.

I wouldn't. She's going through something that requires more comfort not just milk. If you're nursing her on demand then everything is normal. It will pass.
