The hospital I'm at doesn't take babies to the nursery at all. So here I am struggling to stay up and breastfeed. I need a power nap 😴
In Fl at the hospital I went to, they didnt give pacifiers, but I'm grateful they took my baby to the nursery, they were slow at the time, when I got there. I barely slept, I think the most I did was 3-4 hours, and they only watch them for a few hours. So one day out of the four days, I actually slept a Lil. Hubby was with me, I can't imagine doing it alone. My heart goes out to you. At least with baby in bassinet, you know she's OK. The 2nd night honestly was the worst for me, due to cluster feeding.
Well right now the problem is I'm tired and getting stressed out. I'm here alone with no help.
The hospital we use doesn't take baby at all, from birth, unless there is a problem.
Aw I'm sorry, that's hard. that's awful his work didn't give him a couple of days of leave :(
I'm at the point that I will take just a nap for 30 mins lol. My daughter wide awake. And when I put her down, starts screaming.
@justusthree, why did no one tell me I could as for a break? Lol then again there were on the boob most of the time or asleep
@vondutch843, not here in Cali. Or at least now where I'm at. So they don't encourage breastfeeding?
@luceromommy, I know I asked for them to take my daughter to the nursery the night I had her because I was up for almost 2 days before that. I needed sleep lol, I was getting delirious. And I couldn't sleep in the room with her because I kept staring at her, or I woke up and freaked out every time she made a noise 😂
@luceromommy, yes. When I delivered my son, they took him and let me sleep. They want you to get rest.
@miniwolfe, thanks 🙏🏾. I think I'm being released today. Me and my bf don't live together but his mom told me to come over the next few nights for help... yay!!!!
