So I stay home everyday w my daughter but my husband works very early every morning, I freak out every night that my daughter will wake up screaming and I won't be able to calm her and she's going to wake my husband up (makes him crabby) which makes me not get much sleep. Anyone else have a similar living situation? And how do you deal with it?

My husband and I both work but because of his crazy early work schedule, I slept out on the couch with the baby for about 4mos. You aren't alone. Idk how I dealt with it and I have 2 kids, then would get up, get them ready/fed and drop them off with my mom before I went to work. You just get through it the best you can. It's only temporary! The baby is 9mos now and sleeps in her crib.

I used to go into the next room. I was basically sleeping on the sofa until M was three months old.

Then when I realized, OMG, WTF am I doing when he should be getting disturbed as well?! And my body was aching as hell. Even if my husband never had to get up either and got cranky and depressed.

M is, always has been sleeping in the same bed as us, BTW.

It's up to you how nice you want to be to your husband, aka, how much you want him to be absent from this particular phase. Basically, how tired you want to be. Believe me, even staying at home all day and napping with M didn't give me enough sleep. I'm sure you know already.

Of course, as always, communication is key if you want the marriage to survive.
