@jlf240 when my daughter was that age i had the same problems. The pediatrician always said she was underweight but as far as being tall she was excelling. I had to give her like a baby protein shake because they wanted me to fatten her up I did it for a little bit but then I realized they are going off statistics of obese American children as long as my kid is happy and I know she's eating I really didn't care what they thought or what their statistics showed so I gave up trying to please them. The baby protein shake made her constipated and she had terrible problems from it

@tired.as.a.mother, pediatrician said my daughter is underweight. She hasn't gained enough in the last three months. We were instructed to stop giving purée foods (the only food she will eat) and make sure she eats more.

It's not possible to get her to eat more unless I give her purée (because she refuses to eat anything else).

This whole week has been a nightmare and I have given up trying to get her to eat chewable food. She will do it when she is ready. For now I'm giving her as much purée and breastmilk as she can manage to choke down.
