Should still get things in legal order. That way If he's doing things he shouldn't, you CAN take his kid from him. My friends bf has a kid from a previous relationship, never married, etc. they have a custody agreement and in it, no significant others can't meet the kid (his or hers) for at least 6 months. And the significant other can't stay the night in the house with the child until they're married.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing.
