Please no rude comments I'm already hating myself. I was picking raspberries in my neighbors driveway (this is common as I pick for my family, her, and another elderly neighbor. My almost 14 month old son was sitting in the driveway less than three feet away from me. The daughter of my neighbor came home unexpectedly and didn't see us. I quickly ran to pound on her car but she didn't stop in time. She was able to back up and I picked up JJ. He has a scrape on his back and I didn't see anything else. He was crying but it was more of a scared cry than pain. He was getting tired before the incident and now when I got him home I noticed a scrape on the back of his head, about the size of a quarter. Do I bring him to the ER? He really wants to take a nap and I'm scared about a possible concussion. I know that a lot of people would race to the ER but I don't want to put him through more fear if I don't have to. This happened about 10 minutes ago. He's nursing now, almost falling asleep.
@napmommyoftwo, @rola, @beebaby, @kitcatmeow8383, @mommysbabies, @aboutellesbabes, @dang_dridri, @deafmama16, all wrapped up at the er. CT and blood work was all good. Law enforcement took my statement. It truly was just an accident and it could have happened to anyone.
@aboutellesbabes, just went over him. She was coming around bushes so by the time she saw me she couldn't see him cause he was too short.
You definitely need to go to the er ASAP
Listen no one will bash you take him to ER Now .. Any head bump especially from car needs to be seen .. I worked ER 10 years and seen too many people go later after accident and find things . to be safe take him and tell them what happen ... Nothing will happen to you they will do CAT scan on baby and blood work
Don't let him go to sleep and yes go to er
Wait so did the car hit him or just go over him? I would take him in. I would also have them take an x-ray of his neck just in case! Accidents happen so don't beat yourself up at all. The daughter should have seen you guys.
Better safe than sorry mama I would take him in regardless just to be sure
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
I literally have to only give my dad and his gf enough for 1 bottle when I drop him off there every Tuesday because last week they were about to give him 6oz in an hour like are you crazy they said because he was crying, play with him give him attention and he won't cry pick him up and walk around with him. I told him he gets 3 oz at 7pm they ended up not giving him the 3 oz till 7:30 and we got there at 8:30 to pick him up and was feeding him again I lost my mind it pisses me off bc he has a...
Who else has financial issues within their relationship?? Or am I just lucky 🙄🙄
Not sure if I'm being just mean or what. But my SO used $160 from me this morning. I gave him my bank card because he needed $60 to get material for work. His boss was going to give it back to him at the end of the day. So instead of $60 he took out $160. Which I was a little pissed. (One of the reasons I just can't let him use my card. I have to go get the money from the atm myself if I'm giving it to him) then, to...
So, our downstairs neighbors have been banging on the ceiling every time our son walks. It scares him every time because it’s loud and he can feel it. I’m about over it. He’s TWO. He’s learning how to walk quietly but it’s hard for him. After about the 10th bang, I usually just put him in his high chair or his room. But I shouldn’t have to trap my kid in his own house bc of rude grown adults.
@marzuniversal awesome ! You did a good thing ..great he is doing well !
