I am just horrified for you. 😔 can you go to the police station and press charges now? This is ridiculous behaviour especially in front of the children.

Did your hubby give a statement at the hospital? Make sure you document everything. He can charge them with assault this seems so unreal to me I'm so sorry you even have to deal with any of this ...

@sunshyne76, the police said they are not pressing charges at this time, because the mothers statement conflicted with ours. Obviously she's not going to say she did it. The cop even justified her kicking down my sore, apparently that's because her daughter was screaming inside, of course she was screaming her mom was acting like a crazy person. My sister is cop and she told me all the things she did wrong, I could get the cops investigated for not calling family and child services with children involved. And she didn't give us her information or an occurrence number

I would definitely do it first thing while there is still visible damage. Good luck. These people should not be raising children and they should be thankful you guys help raise that little girl... so immature

Just an update I talked to the officers supervisor, and now she just called me to say she's sending over ppl to take pictures of our injuries. She didn't sound happy on the phone, but hopefully we are getting somewhere! @sunshyne76, @smith0217,

That is so crazy. What animals! Hoping this gets rectified. Who gets assaulted and the police do nothing?? What crazy town do u live in? The poor kids...to have to witness this smh

@pnutbutta, yup, even the police that they sent last night to take pictures of us were shocked that they weren't sent the night it happened.

@bsnowxoxox, I guess it happens, but it shouldn't, kids shouldn't have to witness that, and there is definitely no reason for it

That poor little girl will now be terrified of her own mother and step dad. Very happy to hear that there is progress being made. Cops must have had better things to do that night other then there job.

@smith0217, it makes me sad because her mom has done this stuff in front of her all her life, so she thinks it's normal. When she's with us and she here's police sirens, she gets all scared, and says the cops are coming to get her.

But she loves her mom soo much she is very attached for some reason, so I don't even know what she thinks of what happened 😞😞

I'm late reading this but I'm so sorry you a have to deal with such ignorance smh. Hope things are a bit better now but maybe he should file for custody and have child services supervise her visits. Remain strong 😘
