My baby girl just turned 6 Months and she hasn't feeling good. Stomach seemed upset..which then lead to more BM's and then horrible diaper rash (like over night)! This is horrible seeing her in so much pain! Her bottom was even bleeding! We go to her 6 month check up this morning and her Pediatrician says the worse soap to bath her with is Johnson & Johnson Lavender! (drys baby out bad!)Great! 🙈Why didn't any of my Mom friends tell me this! 🤷♀️
So Pediatrician recommended Dove or Aveeno!
Any one love one or the other? Please share ur thoughts.
For diaper rash we are using: Baby Butt Paste & Neosporin & air dry/no diaper when we can

@michelle-, We tried Desitin at the very first sight of it and then that's when Pediatrician recommended the butt paste. I almost want to go back to the Desitin. It's 10 bucks a bottle for that butt paste! Ouch! When you have to use SO much to cover baby's bottom it adds up!
@rwarden9, for Diaper Rash I use Destin Extra Strength, used with my first daughter too
I use Johnson Lavender and their skin is fine. Have you started feeding her solids? It could also be teething. When my son would teeth he would get alot of BMs and they turned into rashes that looked so bad he wouldn't let me wipe him.
We use Aveeno and she'll be 6 months next week.
