@momo.marie when me and my sons dad split he treated me bad to the point where my family wanted to do something about it. I refused to let that happen just because hes my sons dad regardless and almost all my family dont speak anymore and if I invite them to either or parties they won't show.

I just feel sad that I know if we both do one my family won't show besides my parents. Like makes me shirt to see his side only and not mine, that makes him happy to look like only he cares.

I think combined is best. Less confusing for the kids.

To be honest mama, you will be so busy being hostess to have time to even think or worry about anything else. I'd just kill them with kindness. That's what I do to my husbands side (they hate me). They are all here to celebrate their own and if they can't then they can leave. I do it all for my babies not them.
